According to what she said, her husband was not at home and, at his request, which he relayed to him in a telephone conversation, allowed the dogs to enter the fenced yard. He didn’t even think that dogs could hurt someone or jump over a fence.
– In our area at that time, everything was happening, there were even shootings – said Maksimović in his defense. – For our, and especially for the safety of the children, we have dogs.
Complaints
UNSATISFIED with the judgment, Igora Maksimović filed an appeal against this verdict with the Novi Sad Appeal Court. His defense attorney, attorney Vladimir Horovic, also announces that he will appeal.
“We haven’t received a verdict yet,” says lawyer Horovic. – When we receive it, of course, we will file an appeal against the court decision.
