The Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, stated that the Republika Srpska has received more aid in recent years, since Aleksandar Vučić came to power in Serbia, than in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 20 years.

He said that Vučić and Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić were “committed to cooperating with the Republika Srpska, of which he can personally testify.”

“I want to tell all Serbs, wherever they are, that Vucic and Brnabic are very committed to what they are doing. Today, Srpska and Serbia celebrate many joint festivities, as well as the new holiday of our flag, and there are other projects,” Dodik said.

This is because Serbian and RS Prime Ministers Ana Brnabić and Radovan Višković signed a joint declaration on the “Gornja Drina” hydroelectric system project in Banja Luka.

“These are the best years of cooperation between Srpska and Serbia, and for that I am grateful to President Vučić and the teams that work. We feel more that we belong to Serbia than to some others,” emphasized Dodik and announced that he would ask the Serbian authorities obtained by all citizens of RS. citizenship of Serbia.

Dodik stated that he and Vučić came up with the idea for Serbia to invest in all RS municipalities and that the idea is becoming a reality, and that Serbia and RS will work on new projects.

“And what we have done so far is impressive. The lines of communication with Serbia have been very neglected. It was not an accident, a nation was deliberately trying to divide itself. We believe that we have every right to change that,” he said.

He added that all joint roads and projects will be for the benefit and use of all. Dodik estimated that the cooperation between RS and Serbia “will certainly be poorly evaluated in certain circles in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, but said that such cooperation is not directed against anyone. According to him, “others say that Serbia is good only when it is weak, but it is important that Serbia is strong.”

“I am grateful to Serbia for the work that has already started,” said Dodik, continuing: “In addition, Serbia has taken responsibility for financing the construction of the bridge over Raca, and that is a help for us.

He added that he was looking forward to all the successes of Serbia, both in sports and in all areas, because “we experience all the successes of Serbia as citizens.”

He also thanked Serbia for help during the coronavirus epidemic, recalling that first aid trucks arrived from Serbia.
