The use of anti-scabies drugs for the treatment of kovida-19 has become on the Internet and a global trend that has unfortunately reached Serbia.

A study by an American institute that a scabies drug can help prevent the coronavirus, which is available to Internet users, can pose a great danger to health.
Sales of animal mange drugs have increased because people have used it as a corona remedy.
The doctors of the red zone of the Kovid ambulance in Batajnica, Dejan Markovic and Lazar Vrga, warn the citizens of Serbia that the use of this drug is very dangerous and that it may have side effects.

– In that research that is available on the Internet, it is written that the use of that drug can prevent the development of corona, but it is not clear how much those concentrations of the drug can officially affect that. It is not yet officially on the drug program that would be used, so taking this drug on your own is very dangerous. Serious side effects are possible, such as an increase in liver enzymes, said Dr. Dejan Markovic on the “Belgrade Chronicle” program.
His front-line colleague at the Kovid ambulance in Batajnica, Lazar Vrga, noted that the vaccine is the best means of protection.
– I understand that people try everything to protect themselves that there is no vaccine, but the vaccine exists and is the best tool in the fight against corona. The anti-scabies drug is dangerous and should not be used, and it is not officially approved in the fight against this virus, Vrga added.
