Today, a part of the medical specialists of the Novi Pazar hospital reiterated the request to the president, the prime minister and the minister of Health of Serbia, requesting a change of leadership led by the director Meho Mahmutović.

In a letter to the highest officials of the State, they pointed out that the previous written appeal of 37 out of a hundred specialists of that institution remained unanswered, which is why they are now asking for a meeting with Minister Zlatibor Loncar, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic or the President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade.

“We suspect that the correct information is not reaching you … After being eyewitnesses to all the omissions made by the hospital management, we would like to look you in the eye and tell you the truth in a live conversation,” the letter reads sent to the media.

Doctors assessed the lack of response as indicating that their “restraint and restraint”, on the other hand, is treated as a weakness.

“If we do not receive any response in the next period, we fear that we will be forced to take more radical measures so that someone can listen to us and listen to us,” the letter reads.

They reiterated the proposal to form a commission to investigate all complaints of hospital mismanagement, omissions that led to their total collapse during the corona epidemic and the highest per capita mortality in Europe.

“Until then, we also agree with the forced administration, which will surely make the hospital work better and help us recover,” said the doctors calling for a change in leadership.
