Around 9:15 pm, the chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party, Dragan Djilas, arrived on the plateau in front of the Serbian Parliament, where four MPs are on hunger strike. After talking to Djilas, the Dveri leader said the hunger strike would continue.
He has been talking for a long time with his colleague from the Alliance for Serbia, Boško Obradović, who is on a hunger strike.
Progressives who are also on a hunger strike are still sitting in the chairs they took out of the Assembly earlier in the day. As Aleksandar Martinović and Sandra Božić told us tonight, they intend to continue the strike until the Prosecutor’s Office announces, as they say, the violent behavior of Boško Obradović.
The initiator of today’s hunger strike, independent parliamentarian Miladin Sevarlic, who was the first to decide on that act, entered the Assembly building and is expected to leave only around 11 pm, when he should address journalists. .
Sevarlic started a hunger strike for the first time this morning at 11 a.m. due, as he said, to the betrayal of Kosovo and Metohija, the state, and the societal divisions of society.
Dveri’s leader Boško Obradović joined him and called his act heroic.
Aleksandar Martinović asked Sandra Božić to abandon the strike, however, she did not accept it and said she would continue the protest..
When asked if he was bothered by the waves of insults directed at him gathered in front of the Assembly, Martinović said he was democratic and that everything was fine as long as no one was missing a hair.
After the conversation with Djilas, Bosko Obradovic said that he would continue the strike.
“I continue the hunger strike. It is good for me to calm down and purify myself a little and, as one of the leaders of the opposition, to have a more prudent vision of the situation we find ourselves in. My request is a sincere and open dialogue on the future of Serbia, “said Obradovic.
