The suspect then dragged his mother out of the room and into a sewer next to the house, burying her in sand, bricks and branches, where the body was found on March 16 this year, Chief Prosecutor Zoran Đuran said.

The senior deputy prosecutor on duty conducted an investigation with the police officers from the Becej police station, and the suspect Divna was arrested on the orders of the senior prosecutor in Zrenjanin due to the crime of homicide provided for in article 113 of the Penal Code. , after which she was taken to the deputy on duty for questioning.

The investigating judge of the Zrenjanin High Court will be asked to order the arrest of the suspect, due to the influence on the witnesses to be questioned in the investigation and the fact that the manner of committing the crime led to public harassment that could compromise the good and fair development of criminal proceedings.
