The director of the new covid hospital in Batajnica, Tatjana Adzic Vukicevic, said that a third of the 390 patients admitted to that institution in the last five days would have died had they not been hospitalized.
Adzic Vukicevic also said that almost half of the hospital is in operation, adding that there are enough medicines and medical equipment.
“The conditions, let me tell you, when you move to a new house, and even in such a large hospital, they must adapt to us and us to the given conditions, but only with patience, joint work, step by step, calmly, we put everything in order, and packaged as it should be and works. What is my only request and what I promised in public, what is not fulfilled is communication, giving information about patients. That is why our engineers are in the field and the existing lines and call center that will refer the families of patients to the numbers they can call that are directly connected to the Serbian Clinical Center, ”said the director.
