The bodies of the married couple were sent for an autopsy to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, in order to determine the exact cause of death. However, since there are no visible traces of violence on the body to indicate that the death occurred by force, it is assumed that they died naturally.
Neighbors think her husband Jovan died of a heart attack because he had heart problems and had a stent implanted years ago, and that his wife Danica, who couldn’t take care of herself because she was insane, also later passed away.
– He always took care of her, took her for a walk, she couldn’t do anything by herself. They got along great, but she was very ill – declared one of the neighbors.

As the neighbors said, they rarely visited them and had no children.
“They lived alone, their friends used to come, but above all they took care of themselves,” said the neighbors.
The investigation will determine how long the bodies of the spouses were in the apartment and, according to the neighbors’ story, they were last seen about two weeks ago.
– I have not seen Danica go alone for a long time, she was always with Jovan, and in recent days I have not seen Jovan either. He used to go to the market and we would meet there, but he hasn’t been in the last 15 days – said one of the neighbors.
Yesterday one of the neighbors sensed an unpleasant odor that spread through the building and called the police, after which the bodies of the spouses were found.
– The last time I saw Jovan, I asked her how Danica was, to which she said: “It’s not good …” – said a neighbor through tears.
According to neighbors, Jovan worked in France as a tailor for many years, while later making honey in Belgrade.

– He was a hard-working and hard-working man. They are originally from Sabac, but he worked abroad for many years, acquaintances claimed.
Neighbors of this couple, as well as their acquaintances, are shocked by the tragedy that happened in this peaceful area of Voždovac. The bodies of the spouses were transferred in a funeral vehicle around 2:30 p.m.
The body of a woman in an advanced state of decomposition was found yesterday around 3 pm in Vracar on Novopazarska Street. Emergency services found the body in an apartment on the sixth floor.
As “Blic” unofficially finds out, the body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine to determine the exact cause of death.
