Belgrade – It is not yet known what will happen with the celebration of the New Year. It is true that there will be no receptions organized in the squares, while the caterers are worried about what will happen.

It is unlikely that there will be no restrictive measures during the New Year holidays, epidemiologist Predrag Kon told Prva Televizija.

“Our duty, as catering institutions since 1864, is to inform our guests and make a price and everything for me. Nobody really knows what will happen. If 10 people in a room allow it, we will work for ten, independently with huge losses” says Milica Petković, restaurant manager at Skadarlija.

Years ago, at this time of year, it was known who will go where, but now there is uncertainty.

“No, we have no interest in the New Year. Nobody responds, because nobody knows anything,” Petković added.

Only five percent of caterers in Belgrade promote the program for New Year’s Eve, and 10 percent of them plan to host a welcome celebration, say the bar and nightclub associations. Ticket prices in restaurants range from 35 to 60 euros, while in some, where famous singers perform, the price ranges from 150 to 200 euros.

“If someone organizes the New Year, that someone does not take money for the New Year, but expects to work for the New Year, because that is the only way to survive January. epidemiological is very bad, I don’t think about it, but if someone organizes it, they organize it because there is no other way to survive ”, says Miša Relić from the Association of Bars and Clubs.

And how realistic it is that this year we celebrate the New Year, see more in the video.
