According to security camera footage, the Belgrade police identified a man who planted explosives under Strahinja’s jeep in New Belgrade on Sunday and fled immediately thereafter, likely across the border.
As is unofficially known, this is a professional hitman who planned every detail of the crime and got away every last detail. Although the search for him is still ongoing, it is believed that he left Serbia immediately after the crime, so this murder will be added to his other crimes in the already existing arrest warrant.

Through a swift and efficient investigation, the police established that the Bosnian hit man did all the “work” on a bicycle. Surveillance cameras filmed him in the garage of the luxury residential complex “Vest 65” in New Belgrade, where Strahinja lived. There he probably planted a Pentrite P-500 military plastic explosive under Strahinja’s BMW X5 jeep.
The same cyclist was filmed a little later, a few hundred meters away, on the Omladinskih brigade street, making a phone call at the same moment of the explosion of the jeep, in the immediate vicinity. It is presumed that he waited for Strahinja and his girlfriend from Colombia, Sonja Suárez Gómez (45), to leave the garage, and then activated the bomb by phone.
During the investigation and search of the terrain in the nearby Sava River, the inspectors found a bicycle used by the killer. Although the footage does not show the killer’s face, as he had a cap, helmet and glasses, the police managed to identify him, but his name has not yet been announced.
Strahinja’s girlfriend Sonja, who was slightly injured in the blast, told police that on the fateful day she went to car races with Strahinja in Usce when the blast broke out. After questioning, she was banned from leaving the country and was at Strahinja’s funeral yesterday.

Strahinja Stojanović was buried yesterday in the New Bežanija Cemetery. In addition to Strahinja’s family, Sonja was also in the procession. She wore a white rose and from time to time she looked up at the sky with tears in her eyes.
There were around a hundred family and friends in the procession, and upon reaching the grave, Strahinja’s cousin said goodbye to him with a short speech.
– You were good, always smiling and ready to help everyone … We will not say goodbye … See you in a better place – said, among other things, Strahinja’s cousin.
During that time, Sonja silently stared at the coffin, then squatted down and stroked it. She then threw a flower at Cancer, as did other Strahinja family and friends.

Let us remind you, Stojanović has been the target of assassins before, and in 2019, he miraculously survived a bomb blast planted under his jeep in the Galenika settlement. His then girlfriend from Spain, the former Miss Olac Bilbao González (22), was seriously injured at the time.
Strahinja was well known to the police, and in the media he was associated with the brothers Branislav and Slobodan Sharanovic of Montenegro, who were liquidated in a brutal mafia war that has been fought for years between Montenegrin clans. Stojanovic also appeared as a witness in the trial in the murder case of Nikola Bojovic, Luka Bojovic’s brother, who had been at war with the Saranovics for years. Furthermore, Strahinja’s name was mentioned in connection with the liquidation of well-known Belgrade lawyer Dragoslav Mišo Ognjanović, defense lawyer for Luka Bojović and Filip Korać, but he was never held liable in court.
