DID JATACI WAIT FOR THE KILLER IN JAKOV? Police found DNA and reviewed the images: details of the arrest of Bojan Mirkovic’s killers

They were ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours, and their identities will be released on Sunday, when they will be questioned at the Vuša Prosecutor’s Office. Mirkovic was killed on 12 November in the garage of the Jorgovan building in New Belgrade, next to “Delta City”, and video surveillance cameras also recorded the liquidation, which we found helped investigators locate the suspects.

According to unofficial information, the arrest followed the analysis of the recordings, from which the executioner’s movement after the crime was partially reconstructed, as well as the discovery of DNA.

– The murderer escaped by bicycle and after Belleville, where he committed the crime, the camera “captured” him on the wall of Sava – says the source of “Novosti”. – He fled in the direction of Surčin and then “disappeared” in Jakovo. There he was received by his henchmen. Several of them were arrested and we will see when and for what criminal charges will be drawn against them. Checks are underway to determine which of them is the direct author.

As “Novosti” already wrote, the killer went by bicycle to the crime scene. At one point, Mirković noticed it and started running away. This, however, caught up with him in the elevator and shot him. The lifeless body was found by one of the building’s tenants, who, when he parked the car in the garage and went outside, smelled a specific smell similar to gunpowder. He turned and saw a young man in a pool of blood.

Mirković is suspected of being the latest victim of a criminal group, which has been organizing liquidations in the Serbian capital for some time, and is linked to the Montenegrin mafia clan.

This was recently confirmed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who said that it is known who “committed the murder” in “Delta City” and that the search for him is ongoing.

– Many thought it was impossible to find out – said President Vučić. – It is interesting that both the murdered and the murdered in “Ušće” had important contacts with certain people from the state structures. And that fight against crime will be the fiercest, it will not be short, but all the results will be seen there. Mirkovic was buried on Wednesday in the Bežanija cemetery.
