Members of the Belgrade Ministry of the Interior arrested the French citizen EK (32) for the existence of reasons to suspect that he committed the crime of fraud.
It is suspected that in September this year, in a hotel in Belgrade, he falsely presented himself as a Cameroonian citizen and deceived the injured party that with the help of certain means and skills he could make more original banknotes from one euro note. original.
It is suspected that the injured man gave him 100,000 euros, so that the suspect could exchange that money for paper, which he put in a bag with the same appearance, and left the hotel with the original money.
The suspect was detained for up to 48 hours, and will be taken to the First Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, along with a criminal complaint.
