In the village of Štava in Kuršumlija, LJ.M. (62) hit his son RM (27) on the head with an ax after an argument.
Fortunately, RM was slightly injured, but the act was characterized as an assassination attempt. He was hospitalized after the event and LJ.M. a measure of police detention of up to 48 hours was imposed, after which he will be questioned by the Prokuplje superior prosecutor.
According to the information we found, RM went out into the yard after an argument with his father. Then the father came out, took the ax, and then struck him on the back of the neck with forceful work. RM was injured and his father called an ambulance and reported what he had done.
The injured RM, however, denied that his father had beaten him, probably wanting to protect him.
