The dentist Seth Lukhart from the city of Anchorage in the US state of Alaska, who was filmed extracting a tooth from a patient while he was standing on an electric skateboard, that is, a variant of an electric scooter, was sentenced to 12 years in prison Monday for dozens of rapes, writes Anchorage Daily News.

Anchorage Superior Court Judge Michael Wolverton said Monday that Lukhart nearly killed several patients because he was overdosing them on sedatives.

“There was only one thing that occurred to me while I was going through the case file: you almost killed several people,” the judge said.

On Monday, Lukharta found the jury guilty of 46 different crimes. Among other things, the dentist cheated health insurance, embezzled money and treated his patients unscrupulously.

In 2017, an indictment was brought against Lukhart when a former employee at his office told investigators that Lukhart was increasing the office’s profits by exaggerating by administering intravenous sedatives. In 2016, Luhart and his former office manager, Sean Cranford, billed patients for $ 2 million for intravenous sedatives. It later turned out that they used this form of sedatives unjustifiably.

A woman told Lukhart during the trial that a dentist extracted a tooth while she was standing on a floating board. A video of the incident was shown at the trial, and it could be seen that Lookhart was rocking back and forth during the removal on the hoverboard, and that after removal in that vehicle, he left the courtroom and turned his back axis.

Another patient said Lukhart had four teeth removed without permission.

Judge Wolverton ruled that Lukhart, after being released from prison, could not practice medicine for 10 years.
