Belgrade police arrested four people on suspicion that they broke into the apartment of construction investor Sasa P. in Zvezdara on December 12 and stole 100,000 euros in cash and an expensive Rolex watch, valued at 15,000 euros!

According to unofficial information from the investigation, Dejan R. (44), his girlfriend Tanja P. (29), as well as Amir M. (45) and Robert J. (50) are behind bars.

– The investigation established that Dejan and Amir broke into Sasha’s apartment on December 12, where they tied him and his sister, and then tortured and robbed them. Robert is suspected of leading them into the robbery, while Tanja was in charge of covering up the clues. That is, after the robbery, he rented apartments for a day, in which they all hid. He also rented cars that were used to get around the city, our source explained.

From the DNA traces, but also from the description of the robbers, the inspectors managed to identify them and the suspects were arrested the day before yesterday while they were in a rented garage.

– The stolen money and the watch were not found, and the four arrested do not want to reveal where they hid the loot for now. It remains to be determined who “typed in” Sasa P. and how the robbers found out that he has a large amount of money in the apartment – said our interlocutor.

Interestingly, Amir literally bragged about his criminal “career” in police questioning. He said that he lived in France for a long time, where he robbed numerous villas and banks, and even killed for money.

As for Dejan, he is well known to our police and has been sentenced several times to a total of 25 years in prison for theft and robbery.
