DEAD OF THE CROWN: Hieromonk Prohor of the Cetinje Monastery rested in the Lord

The Hieromonk Prohor is said to have been buried today in the Ćelija Dobrska monastery, the monastery of the Cetinje monastery, in the presence of the brotherhood of the Cetinje monastery and the priests of Cetinje. – Father Prohor was born on Trinity Day 1977 in Kocani in the Republic of Macedonia, and at his baptism he was named Dusan. He finished seminary in Skopje and later studied at the Faculty of Theology in the same city. After marrying in which he later had two children, he received the ordination of deacon at the Metropolitanate de Bregalnica. He was ordained a monk on October 29, 2010 at the Cetinje Monastery. He was ordained a priest-monk on Saint Peter’s Day 2014 in Cetinje.

In recent years, he served as the economist of the Cetinje monastery, taking care of the monastery properties and at the same time fulfilling the duty of priest of the monastery.
