The situation has long been critical and many would call it chilling.

The third wave of coronavirus from day to day brings a growing number of newly infected patients with respirators, but also dead. Black records are falling.

Almost eight months have passed since the start of the pandemic. An epidemic was declared in our country on March 19, while the first case of the coronavirus was registered thirteen days before, on March 6. The day after the epidemic was declared, the first victim of this virus was registered.

Below are the most important statistical data related to the epidemic of the coronavirus virus in our country, and refer to the number of patients examined, infected, hospitalized, then patients on a respirator, as well as the deceased.

Regarding the percentage by gender in the total number of patients until last Friday, 46.7 percent are women and 53.3 percent are men. The age group in which the most infected are registered is 30 to 39 years. Hospitalizovani

The highest number of people hospitalized was on July 14, when their number was 4,858. There are currently 3,693 hospitalized patients. For now, we are still far from the number of patients in hospital treatment we had on July 14, but hospitals, as authorities say, are filling up fast. Dr. Ivana Milošević, deputy director of the Infectious Diseases Clinic, said the other day that the Infectious Diseases Clinic was “full of holes” and that “a painful night is behind us.”
