SUBOTICA – Members of the Subotica Ministry of the Interior arrested Subotica’s CE (1981), due to the existence of reasons to suspect that he committed the crime of trafficking in persons.
“He is suspected of forcing his 16-year-old daughter to have sex with an older man this month in exchange for money,” Subotica police confirmed.
The arrest of the suspect was ordered for up to 48 hours, and she will be transferred to the Subotica Superior Public Ministry, along with a criminal report.
As Kurir unofficially finds out, Emina K. persuaded her daughter to have sex with an older man, from whom she took money for the act, eventually forcing the girl to do so.
The girl, after being tortured by her mother, trusted a close relative and accompanied her to the police to report the case. His mother was arrested after that, and the circumstances that forced the 39-year-old woman to abuse her son in such a way are not yet known. Unofficially, the mother and daughter live on the outskirts of Kelebija, near the border, and live in poverty.
The courier unofficially learns that a search was carried out not far from the Ker cemetery, where a man allegedly lives whose mother tried to deceive her underage daughter. We also learned unofficially from sources close to the competent authorities that the minor is well and that there was allegedly not a full relationship between her and the older man.
The higher prosecutor’s office will release the details of the investigation after hearing from Emina. This is not the first case in Subotica in which a mother tried to cheat on a minor.
