The president said the following:

– Those who attack me for praising Trump, they think I’m going to give that up, and I’m not afraid of anyone. I know Biden much better than Trump and have seen him several times. I think Trump’s victory is a better option for Serbia. I won’t lick Biden. I will congratulate him and express my hope that our cooperation with the United States will continue, and I will thank the Trump administration for all they have done. Trump did not participate in the bombing and the creation of an independent Kosovo, and I do not know what those who celebrate Biden’s victory are happy about, what will be more difficult for Serbia? You should be ashamed of yourself!

Vučić reiterated that he is personally much better with Biden, but that he does not give up his views.

– I’m leaving Serbia, which is not poltronic and flattering, as in the time of Tadic and Djilas. I hope that we will cooperate with the United States, and I thank Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump, and all members of Trump’s cabinet. I will wait for the morning and congratulate Biden, I will not compete like these white people … – said Vučić.
