– Of 17 preschoolers in Belgrade, the highest incidence of scarlet fever has been recorded in a single institution: PU Čukarica. In four facilities of this institution, 13 children became ill, according to the Ministry of Child Welfare.
Regular preventive measures have been taken in all institutions, and all employees follow the instructions.
The secretariat claims that there is no place for panic, but on the other hand, health centers say they have two or three sick children in almost all kindergartens.
Doctors say that this time of year is conducive to the development of the strep bacteria, which causes this disease.
