The President of the Serbian Assembly, Ivica Dačić, assessed that the opposition parties that boycotted the June parliamentary elections are themselves responsible for not having deputies.

“Long before the elections, we warned them that their boycott had no effect or meaning, they were also told that from Europe, but they decided differently and only now it makes no sense to talk about why some of the opposition are not in the Assembly. Commenting on the proposal that the SPS and the SNS run together in the 2022 elections, Dacic said that the two-party coalition, established in 2012, was “the longest and most efficient political alliance Serbia has ever had.” .
“During that time, enormous results were obtained, in the economy, in the international position of Serbia, at the level of the citizens. Citizen support for such a policy only increases from election to election. That is why I think my proposal is logical and pragmatic. “Nobody will drown in the other, nobody wants that, and neither will voters who sympathize with one party or another,” Dacic said.
