Demagogy, this is how deputies commented on the first “reform” of the newly elected president of the Serbian Assembly, Ivica Dačić, which marked the rise in prices in the parliamentary restaurant as the first task of his leadership in parliament.

The deputies say that these are the prices in all the Serbian government canteens and recall that Dacic has been in public administration for almost 30 years.
– Dacic, who has been supporting himself at the expense of the state for 30 years, should know that it has nothing to do with parliament, but here, he started doing propaganda and since when will it start, it is best to start from Parliament Serbian – told “Alo!” MP Marijan Risticevic noted that he pays for everything out of his own pocket.

– When I have the table, I pay everything out of my pocket, 30 dinars for water and coffee, I take out the money and pay everything. Everything Ivica Dačić paid while he was the head of the Foreign Ministry, I am willing to donate, only if you give me proof that he paid for it – he said and added that if the parliamentary dining room is Dačić’s only problem, then it should be abolished.
– Dacic also started kidnapping a dead lion and a rabbit – said the MP, adding that the salaries of parliamentarians in Serbia are many times lower than the salaries of their colleagues in the region.

Yesterday, MP Milenko Jovanov also commented on the “reform” of Dacic’s parliament.
– If that is the biggest problem in the Assembly, we are great! Also, I have not been in the Assembly for a long time, but from what I have noticed during these months, they bring free coffee and water to the president, he said “Hello!”

MP Dragan Shormaz characterizes Dacic’s move as pure demagoguery.
– I don’t know how you can do that ?! The Assembly restaurant is managed by the Joint Affairs Directorate, that is, the Government of Serbia. These are the prices that are valid in all, I can freely say, Serbian Government canteens. I don’t know why he didn’t do that while he was Prime Minister! The true president of the Assembly would have to make an effort to strengthen the role of parliament in society, as well as to improve the working conditions and the status of the people’s deputies, concluded Shormaz.
