Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said today that an agreement has been reached with Hungary to open a border for our passengers, while Romania and Bulgaria are considering some options on the matter.
– We talk about the normalization of traffic, but it also depends on the countries that someone wants to go to. We made the decision to open borders to neighboring countries and the Hungarians were very interested in that and we only agreed with them at the moment – Dacic told TV Prva.
He said he had interviewed ministers from neighboring countries, saying he had not found adequate answers in Croatia, Montenegro and BiH, specifying that the BiH defense minister had reacted sharply, saying he would arrest anyone who crosses his border.
Speaking of other countries, Dacic says the European Union will not decide that it can now travel to all countries, but, as he said, each country will gradually make that decision.
– People can leave Serbia, but where will they go … – Dacic’s notes.
He recalled that there is a category of people that belongs to the call. a small border belt, which, he adds, is about 50 kilometers on either side of the border, suggesting that these people also have their properties and businesses on the other side of the border, and that it would be important for them to be able to cross.
It recommends that anyone who wishes to travel by plane in the next period should know that the process will continue to work with the assistance of the state, that is, each of them will have to have a guarantee that our country will receive them.
Dacic stressed that Serbia will not be able to make its own decisions in the future, adding that a greater EU response is needed.
– The European Union does not have a unique position and probably will not have one. Initially, there was no such unique measure of solidarity, Dacic said.
