All four drivers and passengers present previously said they had nothing to report except their personal luggage. After the passengers had removed their luggage, the “double deck” was thoroughly inspected, along with the passenger’s luggage trailer.

On that occasion, it was noted that the front inner wall of the bus trailer was repaired, and with the help of a rangefinder discrepancies in its depth were discovered. When the aforementioned partition in the wall was dismantled, it turned out that a specially added “bunker” filled with packs of various cigarettes was hidden behind.

Inside were 2,100 packs of cigarettes. Only after the mobile scanner was examined were the seized cigarettes, along with the bus and one of the drivers, a 27-year-old Serbian citizen from Veliki Trnovac who registered as their owner, were they turned over to the additional jurisdiction of the police and the prosecution.
