These countries include Comoros, Lesotho, Tadikistan, and small Pacific island nations such as Nauru, Kiribati, and the Solomon Islands.

According to Reuters, by April 20, 214 countries and territories, of the 247 recognized by the United Nations, had reported at least one case of coronavirus.

In 190 countries and territories, local transmission was observed, that is, the spread of the virus within the community, while 166 countries and territories recorded deaths.

However, the fact that a country has not reported having infected a coronavirus does not mean that they do not exist, the agency said.

As an example, North Korea has not reported a single case of coronavirus, although it borders China, Russia and June Korea, countries that serve a large number of patients. This may mean that your existence is hiding.

Asia, on the other hand, is registering two large waves of cross-border transmission, and many European countries reported cases in late February.

In February and January, Latin America and Africa did not have a single case of the virus crown, but it subsequently spread rapidly on both continents.

In addition, five countries and territories have been able to get rid of the virus: the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla, Greenland, the Caribbean island of Saint Bartholomew, which is under the sovereignty of France, Saint Lucia, an island nation in the Caribbean and Yemen.

Neither of these countries has reported deaths, and they no longer have an active case, as all infected people have recovered.

In addition, some countries claim that they have been able to drastically reduce the number of new cases, such as China and New Zealand, that declared the virus eliminated.
