Last night, Patriarch Irinej was admitted to kovid “Karaburma” military hospital after the existence of the SARS COV 2 virus was confirmed during regular tests.
Photo: FoNet / Zoran MrđaIn a joint statement by the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Defense, it is added that the patriarch was admitted to the hospital for medical supervision and control, and that a team of doctors from various specialties took charge of his state of health.
The patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC), Irinej, who is infected with the corona virus, is in good general condition, without problems and without fever, the announcement states.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić spoke by phone with the patriarch and wished him recovery and good health, RTS reported yesterday.
