In the last 24 hours, 2,866 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Croatia and 38 people have died, bringing the total number of deaths from the consequences of Kovid 19 to more than 1,000.

The number of active cases in Croatia today is 17,090, of which 1,655 patients are in hospital and 184 patients are on ventilators, announced the National Civil Protection Headquarters.

Since February 25, when the first case of contagion was registered in Croatia, to date a total of 81,844 people have been infected, of which 1,006 have died, and a total of 63,748 people have recovered, of which 2,484 in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 41,615 people in self-isolation, Index reports. To date, a total of 611,357 people have been tested, of which 9,614 in the last 24 hours.

Slovenia

In Slovenia, 1,731 new cases of coronavirus have been registered since the last cut and 41 people have died.

Most of the dead are older than 85 years, writes the Slovenian Delo.

As announced by the Government of Slovenia, 1,224 patients were hospitalized and 206 patients are in intensive care, six more than yesterday, STA reports.

A total of 54,109 people were infected and 765 died.
