According to the latest data on the amount of corona infected with the virus in cities in Serbia, those with the largest population still lead. Thus, Belgrade remains in first place with 583 infected, while Kragujevac returns to the black list and Kraljevo records a sudden jump.

Of the total number of infected (1,318) in the last 24 hours, up to 44 percent of them, more precisely 583, were registered in the capital.

That’s two times less than the day before when there were 1,057 cases in Belgrade, but the situation is not at all relaxing because it is in the capital and it is the biggest hot spot. In addition, on Mondays there are fewer new infections, because they are data from the weekend, when fewer people go to the doctor.

Novi Sad is back in second place with 139 new cases, seven more than yesterday.

What is now surprising again is Kragujevac, who was not on this list the day before and is now in third place with up to 127 new patients.

Fourth is Nis with 76, which is a significant increase compared to the previous day, when 50 cases were recorded in the largest city in southern Serbia.

A sudden jump in Kraljevo

Another city in which an increase in the number of new patients was recorded is Kraljevo with 66, which is 25 more than yesterday.

According to the latest data, another 43 cases were registered in Sabac, 17 more than the previous day.

In other places, fewer than 20 new cases were registered.

In the past 24 hours, 8,397 people were tested for the corona virus across Serbia, 1,318 of them tested positive, while sadly 11 people died.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the “Trampoline” Institute, there are 119 patients on ventilators in hospitals throughout Serbia.
