That the relations between socialists and progressives are not very idyllic was seen during the discussion on the budget for next year. Criticism was also directed at the vice president of the People’s Party, Miroslav Aleksić.
Praising Finance Minister Siniša Mali, the young deputy of the Serbian Progressive Party, Đordje Dabić, rebuked the leader of the Socialists and the Speaker of the Serbian Assembly for rarely visiting the parliament.
“Thank you, Mr. Mali, for the sixth or seventh time in the Serbian Assembly. Perhaps you are more present here than the speaker of the parliament himself,” said Dabic, who in a way rebelled against the socialists.
Socialist Snezana Paunovic, commenting on her younger colleague, said that she did not believe there was any ill intention in mentioning Ivica Dacic, noting that it could have been done recklessly.
“Even when the president of the assembly is not sitting here, he has other obligations, but they are also related to the work of the Serbian parliament,” Paunovic said, noting that she herself has words of praise for the finance minister, but that the facts they must also be discussed in parliament.
Despite the fact that the Socialists in this parliamentary convocation are striving to show themselves as a loyal partner of the progressives, but especially of President Aleksandar Vučić, there is an evident intolerance between them.
Milenko Jovanov, vice president and member of the SNS, showed a greater dose of intolerance towards Dacic for the way the president of the parliament pronounces his last name, and the progressive Milos Bandjur believes that the deputy Dusan Bajatovic is privileged in the parliament.
Although Bajatović did not appear in the assembly, even at the time when his head was elected speaker of the parliament, he was again proposed as a member of the delegation in the CSTO parliamentary assembly. “I don’t know why? Does anyone want to give the impression that the Russians cannot live without Bajatović, or that simply anything related to Russia and relations with the Russians must have a component called the director of Srbijagas, the Mr. Bajatović? It is not clear to me that someone who is not active is also a delegate, ”said Bandjur, adding that it was his personal opinion.
By the way, Dacic forced the deputies who were sitting at the assembly buffet at the time of the debate to the assembly hall yesterday. After returning from the conference “The impact of the Kovid 19 pandemic on the human rights situation in Serbia” in the Palace of Serbia, the President of the Parliament met a group of parliamentarians at the parliamentary buffet, before the official recess at 2:00 p.m., and addressed them with the words:
After a brief conversation with him, they returned to the hall.
Due to criticism that the budget for next year is wasteful and that runaway indebtedness continues, Miroslav Aleksić, vice president of the People’s Party, became the subject of progressive MPs, so he, like Dragan Đilas, se earned the epithet of thief and ignorant.
The progressive Dragana Barišić devoted almost the entire speech on the amendments to the Budget Law to Aleksić, who assessed that he was the man who ruined the municipality of Trstenik.
“It is a fraud in every way. At the time he was president of the municipality, that man only cared about his budget, he gave himself a compensation of 107 thousand dinars, for which he had to reduce it by order of the auditor. He also received compensation as a member of the board of directors of the Kopaonik National Park, where he received 17,000 dinars. He also invented the post of director in the public company Počekovina. He supported himself, but also his father-in-law Ljubisa Knezevic and his mother-in-law, and appointed them for the position of chairman of the administrative and supervisory board in Prva Petoletka “.
He added that he is “a man who has no support, because he received 2 votes in Medvedja, not 2 percent, but only two votes.” “The people at his polling station didn’t vote for him either,” Barisic said, adding that citizens have shown they don’t want scammers like Aleksic.
They are losers, as she said, and as such they went to the political garbage dump.
The young SNS deputy, Zoran Tomic, asked if Miroslav Aleksic differentiates currencies, because he mixes euros, dollars and dinars, while the progressive Ana Pesic wondered if anyone knew where Alesic graduated from the Faculty of Economics.
“We have never been able to establish the fact where he graduated from college,” Pesic said, adding that his only success was that he managed to sell the party to Vuk Jeremic.
