– Compared to many other countries, we are excellent, with the exception of the Vatican and Greenland, we are the country with the least number of new cases in the last week.
However, Dr. Kisić Tepavčević said that there is no room for relaxation, and that the experience of other countries has shown us that the situation can easily get worse.
– We have made a recommendation to extend the work of cafes and restaurants until 11 pm – said Dr. Kisić Tepavčević, but he also pointed out that it is necessary to be careful and respect the prescribed measures.
He also said that from now on, the limit on the number of people inside depends on the square meters of that room, more precisely that a distance of 1.5 meters should be maintained between people.
Dr. Kisić Tepavčević pointed out that the situation in schools is extremely favorable and that we have only had one case of local transmission in these 4 weeks.
– It is very important that classes for students start now, so we call on the academic community and students to behave in a responsible and conscientious manner, so that this virus does not find its host, its reservoir. A good example is China, where there are no cases of local transmission for 40 days. It is an absolute example for us that we can do it if we act responsibly and conscientiously.
He pointed out that the presence of mass demonstrations, such as parties and fairs, will not yet be allowed, and pointed out that we must all be responsible.
– As for the demonstrations, they will not be allowed, because a great effort has been made to reach such a favorable epidemiological situation, so allowing the demonstrations would only worsen the current situation – said Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević at the end of her speech.
