Due to the rather dramatic epidemiological situation in Serbia, with more than 10,000 newly infected in the last 48 hours alone, a new emergency session of crisis personnel for the fight against kovid-19 will be held on Friday … session is scheduled to begin at 9:00. As we found out, there will be – new measures.
It should be recalled that during today’s session, the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, said that, unless the situation calms down, they will not wait until December 1 to discuss the adoption of new epidemiological measures.
Three days ago, after the session of the Government of Serbia, he announced that the next measure, if the current ones do not give an adequate result, could be a kind of driving ban.
On the other hand, epidemiologist Dr. Branislav Tiodorovic pointed out that three new measures could be discussed: further shortening of working hours in stores, cafes and other catering services, transition to work from home in most companies, confirmation Mandatory for kindergartens that parents of children must be at their workplace, but also a kind of limitation of the number of passengers on public transport in the city.
In one of the previous Crisis Staff sessions, Dr. Predrag Kon recommended that schools completely switch to online classes, in order to reduce the transmission of the virus among schoolchildren, but later did not find full support among the members of the medical or professional part of the Crisis Staff.
