Labor Minister Darija Kisić Tepavčević stated, after the crisis staff session, that the most stringent existing measures will remain in force in Serbia, most likely until Friday 18 December. It also says that the decision was made on mandatory PCR test for foreign nationals coming to Serbia.

“For our citizens, we know that the Constitution guarantees their entry into the country, they are welcome here, and if they do not have a PCR test, they will be forced to be in home isolation for 10 days, which they can stop if they do a PCR test and it turns out negative”. said the minister.
The restrictive measures that are currently in force will remain in effect until Friday, December 18, the minister said.
“After that, we will meet again and see if we bring new measures,” he added.
According to her, the measures taken so far have paid off.
“Although the numbers are high, we see a decrease in the number of newly infected, more favorable circumstances in the number of hospitalized compared to the number of patients discharged.” Those numbers are still high, the system is under a great burden and we must do everything in our power to reduce the transmission of the virus, “emphasized Kisić Tepavčević.
