As of today, the presence of the COVID-19 virus has been confirmed in 100 users and 41 employees in social protection institutions and homes for adults and the elderly, announced the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs.
The presence of the COVID-19 virus was confirmed in the gerontology centers of Knjaževac, Subotica, Kanjiža, two work units of the center in Novi Sad, as well as in the institution for adults and the elderly in Leskovac.
The virus was also confirmed at the Home Help Service of the Belgrade Gerontology Center, the Home for People with Mental Disabilities “Heart in an Apple” in Jabuka near Pancevo, the Institution for Adults and Aged “Gvozden Jovančićević” Veliki Popovac and the Institute for Adults “Abejitas”, Kragujevac.
The presence of COVID also exists in the social work centers in Vranje and Kraljevo, the Refuge for Adults and Aging of the Novi Sad Gerontology Center, the “Duga plus” and “Dedinje” homes for adults and the elderly in Belgrade, and “Kladomox more ” in Kelebija, ” Terza Eta ” house in Priboj and ” House of care ” in Subotica.
The total number of cured users of social protection institutions is 948, and the number of cured people who are employed in social protection institutions is 384, the Ministry announced.
The Ministry banned the provision of accommodation services for the “Doživati stotu” houses in Belgrade, “Stara pruga” in Umka and “Radost” in Negotin, and work was prohibited in the “Nada” house in Belgrade.
