The weekend passed with fewer interventions and violations in relation to the violation of measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus compared to other weekends in the previous two months, says the Communal Militia, which carried out the control in more than 400 locations.

– Our focus on Friday and Saturday nights was the control of the catering facilities, in order to avoid their work, which was prohibited, and larger meetings – said the shift chief of the Communal Militia, Slobodan Todorović.

He indicated that on Friday the Communal Militia found eight facilities in operation, that all were emptied and that four orders of absences were issued for non-compliance with the measures.

Todorovic said two bars were emptied on Saturday, one of which was illegal.

He says that a new problem has appeared, that is to say, that the gatherings have been moved to apartments, which is why the number of citizen complaints about noise in buildings has increased.

– We had many reports of crown parties in buildings – said Todorović for TV Vesti.

Tomorrow at six in the morning the measures that were in force during the weekend will no longer be valid.

On Friday, March 12, at the suggestion of crisis personnel, the Serbian government adopted measures according to which all catering facilities and shops are closed from Friday at 9:00 p.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m., except grocery stores, pharmacies and pumping stations.
