The Novi Sad city headquarters for emergency situations met today and issued four new orders in accordance with the worsening epidemiological situation in the city territory. The number of new infected in Novi Sad yesterday exceeded three hundred, and part of the population still behaves irresponsibly, as if it does not accept the reality of the serious condition caused by the Kovid 19 virus. According to estimates and expectations of epidemiologists, but also with responsibility and the functioning of the city’s economy, the Municipal Headquarters adopted a new package of much stricter measures.
The city headquarters for emergency situations issued orders related to the work of shops and other business activities, the work of taxi drivers, catering facilities and house rules in residential buildings.
Among other things, according to the new order, taxi drivers and users are obliged to wear protective masks when providing taxi services on the territory of the city of Novi Sad, provided that service users cannot use the front seat in a taxi car. Commercial entities that carry out catering activities are obliged to set up tables in all catering facilities, gardens and other facilities where goods are sold and services are provided, so that there is a distance of at least 2 m between tables, where it cannot be more than four people, unless they are members of the same family. Commercial entities that carry out activities such as discotheques are obliged to enter the discotheque only through the sale / distribution of tickets numbered from 1 to the allowed number of people who can be present in the facility at the same time. The order also prohibits the consumption of food and beverages in front of catering facilities from which food sales are made through counters. The new order also determines the hour of day and night rest in residential and residential-commercial buildings, on the territory of the city of Novi Sad, in the period from 4:00 pm to 5:00 am the next day. Commercial entities that carry out activities in commercial activities are obliged to limit the number of people who can be present in the facility at the same time so that one person can be present for every 4 square meters.
