Citizens receive a unique health card, and this is what that means

All citizens of Serbia will have a single electronic health card containing data from all health institutions, available to citizens and their doctors at all times.

In this way, the connected health system will be more transparent, more efficient and of better quality, and the budget savings achieved in this way will be used for health infrastructure and employee salaries, and all of this will be enabled after the Government of Serbia decides to form a Coordination Body for digitization in the health system.

The digitization of healthcare, that is, will allow all healthcare institutions to have modern information systems connected in a single system, which will ensure the exchange of all relevant data.

Today, the Government also adopted the Decree on the determination of the Business Infrastructure Support Program for 2021, for which funds were delivered in the amount of 1,007,940,000 dinars.
