Thick smoke hung over the Palilula neighborhood in Belgrade, and many readers sent us a photo of the smoke they saw from their apartment.

The firefighters headed to the scene.

– Our team went to the field, the fire broke out at the height of Trudbenik, in Banatski position number 26. The warehouse is on fire, but it has not yet been determined what caught fire, so many options are possible – said the fire service.

No one has been confirmed to have been injured and the ambulance says they did not receive an intervention call.

– We did not receive a call for the fire – they said briefly from this institution.

According to the Interior Ministry, fire crews are still on the ground and are still putting out the fire.

– The sector for emergency situations is currently extinguishing the fire that broke out around 6:45 p.m. in a Slanacki warehouse located in the Palilula settlement. According to the first information, no one was injured. The fire is dying out – said from the Interior Ministry.
