Children still avoid contact with the elderly!

BELGRADE – At this time, the profession does not advise children to come into contact with the elderly, immunologist Srdja Jankovic said today, stressing that children may be infected with the virus and that it has been confirmed in all countries.

Jankovic said at a regular press conference that experts in our country at this time cannot confirm the allegations made by Swiss immunologist Daniel Koher that children do not have receptors and that they cannot become infected with the virus.

He said that Switzerland had lifted the ban on contact between children and the elderly and asked if it would soon be safe for our children to be with grandmothers and blankets, he said that he was unfamiliar with Switzerland’s strategy and that this was probably possible due to the low activities of the virus.

” In us, the activity of the virus is also decreasing, but at this point the last thing we would advise is for children to come into contact with grandmothers and blankets. Such a strategy is out of the question, children can become infected. Having a mild clinical picture or no symptoms is good, but it does not mean that they cannot transmit viruses. At least that is irrefutably proven, ” Jankovic said.
