A family of three from Kraljevo was forced to pay 5,000 more dinars to the “Vodovod” of Kraljevo, because the professional manager of the building in which they live made a mistake, so they reported to this public company, instead of three, that four members live in the apartment.
– In the building where we have lived privately for ten years everything worked normally until we got a professional manager who, to be honest, was not for that position, although he has a license to work. A little over a year and a half ago he reported that our family has four members, and there are three of us, so the water bill increased enormously during that time, says a Kraljevo citizen who did not want us to mention his name.
According to him, when they discovered that a mistake had been made, they went to the warden, who told them that they could sue him for the damage caused, but that “there was no other way he could help them.”
– At the “Vodovod” in Kraljevo, we were then told that they had an understanding for our case, but that we had to settle the bill, either alone or in agreement with the manager. Since the warden did not want to give us part of the money, but insisted that we meet in court, we had no choice and we paid the bill. When we recalculated, we saw that we were damaged by a total of 5,000 dinars, added our interlocutor.
It calls on all citizens to regularly review their utility bills, item by item, so that they do not get into similar trouble themselves.
And as we have learned, due to a series of omissions from the professional manager of the building in Kraljevo where this family lives, in the meantime, it was replaced by a request of the majority of the apartment owners, and a man from the ranks of tenants entered its place.
