Members of the Crisis Staff for the fight against coronavirus held a session today, in which there were no changes in relation to the existing protection measures against the virus.

The position of the members is that there are no more permits for demonstrations that are not cultural, while a decision could be made on others next week after the evaluation of the epidemiological situation.

Crisis staff member Dr Branislav Tiodorović said that the session focused mainly on schools and measures in them, and it was stated that there were no problems.

“The situation at the school in Zeleznik is under control, as well as in Kragujevac. In that part, everything is going normally, but we are aware that it has only been four days since school started,” said Tiodorovic.

The demonstrations, in addition to the cultural ones that were allowed two weeks ago, are still not allowed.

“It should be that way at least until we land in a safe zone of up to 25 new patients per 100,000 inhabitants. We are still at 32, that figure remains. There are many requests for various demonstrations both indoors and outdoors. As far as culture is concerned, it is clearly established with what measures can be maintained. But, there are different requirements for catering and entertainment, and that part cannot be passed, and if we put that part aside, then we have to put aside weddings and weddings have caused us a lot of problems, “Tiodorovic said.

He also claims that the Belgrade Fair is asking to start work, but that a decision has not been made yet.

“If the situation improves, we can decide on that in the next session. The car show and other fairs can be organized and controlled, but it is not yet a situation that we can be completely sure of,” he says.

Currently, he fears that our people continue to travel through the region, where the epidemiological situation is much worse than in our country.

“They want to use what they didn’t do in July and August in September. And look at the environment. The region is quite serious, even where it was under control. I was surprised by the jump with the Hungarians, who kept it pretty well all the time. control, but there is a significant jump from 10, 12 to 300 ”, he says.
