Cameras in public transport registered a dangerous threat, now everyone is in danger

Cameras in public transport in Belgrade showed that a large number of high school students do not respect the measures, which endangers not only them but also others, among which there are many old ones, and threatens to worsen our current stable situation.

Buses are no longer a safe place as they threaten to become a hotbed of corona infestation due to irresponsible people who refuse to wear masks, mostly high school students. The revolt of these young people could hit the whole nation in the head because the transport is used by all ages, and most of the passengers are outraged by the violation of the measures, convinced the reporter of our newspaper during the tour of the city ​​transport.

On a bus traveling through the streets of Belgrade, we encountered a grandmother who tried unsuccessfully to get the driver to stop the bus and to make disobedient passengers wear masks.

– The driver told me there was no way to make them wear masks, I was disappointed. Whichever bus I get on, I meet people without masks. I am afraid for my health and I do not have money to pay a taxi, the old woman regrets it. That the situation in public transport has become alarming is confirmed by the fact that young people are not aware of public health.

– Who will suffocate under the mask in this heat? Half the bus is not air-conditioned, stuffy, and I ride half an hour one way every day. I do not want to destroy the health of another person, who cares, that he moves away from me, I do not want to wear a mask – a minor passenger told us.

Epidemiologist and crisis staff member Predrag Kon pointed out yesterday that the Belgrade GSP cameras showed that a large number of high school students do not respect the measures.

– They travel in transport without masks and that is seen exactly when they go to school, because they go in shifts – said Kon, adding that there is always 10% of the population that, as a general rule, resists the measures .

He stated that it is necessary to point out to students why it is important to wear protective masks and bring them closer.

– Any behavior in which we ignore the presence of the virus will definitely cost us. And what is insidious is that it is not seen immediately, but after a few weeks, and even in some next wave. – Kon said for Pink.
