According to the announcement on Facebook, Zavetnici will meet in front of the Temple of San Sava, from where he will go to the Cultural Decontamination Center, and, as stated in the announcement, several organizations also announced his arrival to protest.
We remind you that the director of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights program and one of the organizers of the festival “Mirdita, good morning” Ivan Đurić, on the occasion of the festival and the announced protest of the right, pointed out that nationalism flourishes in Serbia and Kosovo. while the objective of the festival is for young people to meet, make friends and send a message of peace to the world.
“The lies about the festival have been going on for years and in fact the message is to spread peace and reconciliation between Serbian and Kosovo society, and not violence, hatred and separation,” Đurić said.
According to him, the festival will also talk about how to save Decani, because neither Serbia nor Kosovo protects them, but NATO. He added that this year, in addition to theater, cinema and books, the festival will host debates on key issues of transitional justice and the beginning of the work of the specialized court for the KLA, its way of working and justice for non-Albanian victims.
