The Sabac crisis headquarters introduced an emergency situation in that city due to the increase in the number of patients.

Today alone, 42 new patients were registered in Šabac and a total of 392 citizens fell ill.

The number of exams at the Kovid clinic has also increased significantly, with more than half of the first 287 exams, including 66 children.

There are 60 patients in the hospital with moderate and severe clinical symptoms.

New, stricter measures have been introduced, the organization of ceremonies and events is prohibited and the working hours of the catering facilities are limited to 9:00 p.m.

As indicated on the Glas Podrinja portal, an emergency situation has been introduced on the territory of the city of Sabac on the recommendation of the Institute of Public Health. This implies the expansion of mandatory measures that citizens must adhere to.

That everything is prohibited

– In the first place, the organization of all ceremonies, demonstrations, sporting events, involving a greater number of participants without a clear distance, is prohibited. The work of the catering facilities is limited until 9:00 p.m. The use of swimming pools, wellness centers and spas is prohibited. At the same time, we will carry out an intensified disinfection of streets and public areas, declared the Commander of the Emergency Situations Headquarters and the Mayor of Sabac, Aleksandar Pajić.

Emergency situation proposed to the entire district

ZZJZ proposed the introduction of an emergency situation in all the district headquarters, because the situation has worsened everywhere.

The director of the Institute of Public Health, Dr. Branko Vujković, noted that they carefully monitored the epidemiological situation, followed by a proposal for the introduction of an emergency situation. Today, the total number of hospitalized patients at the General Hospital is 60, reports Glad Podrinja.

– The numbers are extremely unfavorable. We have a significant increase in the number of active patients in the last three weeks and this week there was a big jump with more than 500 new patients – said Dr. Branko Vujković.

Currently, as he says, there are more than 800 active patients on the territory of the district, of which almost half are located on the territory of the city of Sabac.

– The most difficult situation is in the municipality of Ljubovija, in terms of the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants. Today, the number of hospitalizations has increased significantly compared to discharges. In 24 hours, we had a large number of first exams due to kovid symptoms. It is not flu season yet, so most respiratory problems are due to kovid. During the last 24 hours, 90 new positives were registered in the territory of the District, of which 42 in Sabac, which is almost 50 percent. Only by introducing an emergency situation can we control the disease to a certain extent, but despite that, the most important thing in prevention remains the personal responsibility of citizens – said Dr. Vujković.

Today an emergency situation was introduced in Negotin, and in this link you can see in which cities and municipalities this measure is in force. In addition, the president of the provincial government, Igor Mirović, said today that a state of emergency should be introduced in a total of 12 municipalities in Vojvodina.
