The doctor who visited the Nursing Home in the town of Kačulice near Čačak tests positive for the coronavirus, with which the management of the Home was informed, the Beta agency reported today at the Čačak Public Health Institute.
The Institute notes that the infected doctor is in home isolation and that he has milder symptoms of covid infection.
The Čačak Institute of Public Health has taken all epidemiological measures at the Kačulice Nursing Home, and the first tests have shown that the medical staff at the Nursing Home are not infected with coronavirus.
The residents of the Nursing Home who were examined by that doctor are isolated, are in stable condition for now, do not show any signs of covidity and will be under the supervision of a doctor.
Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, no case of infection has been recorded in the Kačulice Nursing Home, neither among users nor among employees.
Visits to that nursing home have been banned since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic.
