As we learned, the accident occurred when an “Audi” vehicle with Belgrade license plates, driven by a nineteen-year-old boy, struck two pedestrians. According to eyewitness statements, the “Audi” was moving along Mediana Boulevard in the direction of the “Stop Shop” mall when it went off the road and cut off pedestrians.
Eyewitnesses assure that the scene was horrible, that the pedestrians flew over the road fence due to the force of the impact.
– He was driving very fast, slipping and hitting a girl who was carried over the fence of the Nis water supply system. Heard she was dead on the spot. The young man was picked up by the ambulance, I heard that he was very seriously injured – said a Nishlija who was found at the accident site.
The investigation at the scene of the accident continues, there are several traffic police vehicles in the field and the lane in which the accident occurred was blocked with two police cars.
Traffic is redirected from the Mediana Boulevard through the “Stop Shop” parking lot onto the Boulevard of Tsar Constantine.
The news, meanwhile, confirmed that the man also died.
