The contract between the City of Belgrade and the company “Apex”, which designed the system, expired in September, but as the Ministry of Public Transport said, it will be extended until the end of December due to the epidemiological situation.
“The contract for the establishment and operation of the System of payment of tickets and management of vehicles in public transport in Belgrade has been extended due to the epidemiological situation caused by the epidemic of infectious disease Kovid 19, until December 31, 2020, or until the completion of the selection process for a new partner. ”Is stated on the website of the Ministry of Public Transport.
Users of regular public transport in Belgrade continue to use the transport service under the same conditions as before.
This means that they can use the current personalized and non-personalized cards, which they can, as before, recharge at points of sale and validate in vehicles, the Secretariat said.
