– The dedication, professionalism, high level of training and exceptional commitment of all members of the Serbian army are proof of the motivation to perform all the tasks and of a great atmosphere among the soldiers. Not everyone has the opportunity to handle the complex and modern means of the Serbian army and be part of such a large activity. The activities carried out so far in the preparation of the exercise confirm once again in practice the excellent coordination between the Air Force and Air Defense, the Army, the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and the 63rd Parachute Brigade, which will be shown in the exercise itself.

How are the preparations for the military exercise “Cooperation 2020” going?

– With the arrival of the units at the Peshter temporary training ground, the exercise began according to plan, and the training will be shown on October 10. The planned activities run smoothly, which is a confirmation of the timely preparations for the exercise.

What will the citizens of Serbia have the opportunity to see in arms?

– The exercise will use the latest means, product of the national defense industry, as well as the most modern means with which the Serbian army has been equipped in recent years: “Mig-29” aircraft, Mi-17 helicopters, Mi-35, H-145, artillery and missile system. “Armor”, modernized tank M84, modernized BVP, modernized system “Morava”, PASARS and UPARS systems, BRDM-2MS armored personnel carrier, as well as armored fighting vehicles “Lazar-3”, “Milos”, BOV KIV, M -20 MRAP, but also other means with which the Serbian army is equipped. The citizens of Serbia will have the opportunity to see the most modern equipment with which our soldiers are equipped, and above all the equipment for reconnaissance, surveillance, as well as the most modern weapons.

What will the exercise be like?

– The exercise will be carried out through seven segments. Among other things, the realization of dominance in the airspace will be shown with the use of artillery units and missiles for PVD, the reconnaissance of the enemy’s combat program from the air with the help of drones and drones, as well as the participation of an armored reconnaissance company, fighter protection of strike groups on battlefield isolation tasks , preparation of attack fire by means of simultaneous actions of artillery-missile means and ground-ground systems and others. The direct aerial fire support of the air force creates favorable conditions for the incursion of the ground forces in the front of the enemy and the fight in depth. The exercise ends with a special landing from an airplane and a landing from a helicopter.
