The RTS Board of Directors was held, which was supposed to make a decision on who will lead the Public Service for the next five years, and Dragan Bujošević, who had the highest probability of returning to this position, did not receive a sufficient number of votes .

As “Blic” learns, eight members of the Board of Directors of this house should have made a secret ballot decision on who will be the head of RTS. Bujosevic received only five votes and to become director one more vote was needed, that is, six votes. Which is a two-thirds majority of the nine members of the Council.

Candidates Olivera Jovićević, Vladimir Palikuća, Miloš Rajković did not get a single vote, while Stanislav Veljković, the current RTS general secretary, received only two votes. The Board immediately announced a new contest, which means that this call for the Board will elect the next director, because their terms expire in January, which means that they will carry out this function until April, until the final election of the new members of the RTS Board, elected by RAM.

Until the new RTS director arrives, his role will be filled by the current acting director Dragan Bujošević, although the Ministry of Culture proposed to the Board to introduce the status that the director general can only be elected twice.

As a reminder, this is Dragan Bujosevic’s third performance status.
