A massive fight broke out last night around 7pm at the corner of Laza Telečkog and Mita Ružića streets in Novi Sad.
The fight allegedly started in one of the bars near the end of the workday.
According to the words of Dr. Zoran Krulj, spokesman for the Novi Sad Ambulance, his team intervened at 7.13 pm and a 23-year-old young man was found at the scene of the confrontation.
The ambulance team provided him with help at the scene of the fight and he was later transferred to the UC KCV resuscitation department for further diagnosis and treatment.
Currently, according to unofficial information, he is hemodynamically unstable and in serious condition.
The police have not yet officially announced this case, and the two culprits were arrested today, shortly before 6 in the afternoon, in an apartment in María Trandafil Square.
Members of the Intervention Brigade and the Gendarmerie participated in the arrest, and inspectors in plain clothes were also at the scene. Members of the Gendarmerie broke into the building at number 20 and entered the apartment with an alleged battering ram.
