Brnabic told RTS that, as Prime Minister, he sent a “studious 18-page response” to that report, which he evaluated was “full of contradictions and the subjective approach of a person who wrote it is obvious.”

“I am surprised that Freedom House does not have a team of experts to write the report, but only one person. That report does not reflect the real situation in Serbia,” said Brnabic.

He said that the Serbian government would publish its response tomorrow Thursday, which the government “carefully addressed.”

However, he added that the Government will adopt some observations of the Freedom House report.

Brnabic told TV-Dnevnik RTS that the “biggest fight in progress” was a fight for the economy.

He said that during the recent decision to end the state of emergency introduced to combat the epidemic, “great care was taken not to relax the measures too soon, but also not to be late, but to ‘get into the vaccine'”, which It is the jargon name for A Good Quick Start for Athletes, mentioned earlier by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

“It seems that we have been successful, the situation is under control, the economy is already working. It is important that we be disciplined, that we continue to fight through the economy now,” said Brnabić.

The Prime Minister stated that she expects Serbia to have the smallest decline in economic activity in the region this year, and the highest economic growth next year, and reiterated that a package of measures has been adopted to preserve employment and liquidity of Business.

“We arrived on time and thanks to these economic measures, today we do not have a problem with a high unemployment rate due to the crisis with the KOVID-19 disease, unlike many other countries,” said Brnabić.

He said that today 1.6 million citizens of Serbia applied for a state aid of 100 euros, which is granted to all people of legal age.

“I am happy, I think it will go directly to our consumption, it will go directly back to the budget through the economy, it will be an incentive for our businessmen and the economy, and I think it will give results quickly,” said Brnabic.

The Prime Minister announced that tomorrow telephone numbers will be published to which citizens can call to leave information to obtain this assistance, for which they only requested today through the Internet.

When asked how the epidemic will affect summer vacations, Brnabic said he “calls for people to stay in Serbia and spend this summer in their country,” saying he does not believe any of the insurance companies will provide health insurance to travel abroad this summer.

“We can have a great vacation in our country, it is direct support for the economy and health makes much more sense. No matter how you look at it, I think it is the smartest thing to do,” said Brnabić.
